Pro Tips
- Apply a thin bead of glue into the groove of each plank before clicking the next plank into place. Wipe excess squeeze-out immediately with a damp cloth -- dried glue on the floor surface is visible and difficult to remove.
- Not all floating floors require tongue-and-groove glue. Check the manufacturer's installation instructions. Glue is most commonly recommended for laminate floors without an integrated locking mechanism and in areas where moisture exposure at the joints is a concern.
